Iarnród Éireann is Ireland’s national rail operator and infrastructure manager, providing passenger and freight rail services, as well as operating Rosslare Europort.

The organisation operates Intercity, DART and Commuter services and jointly operates the Dublin to Belfast Enterprise service with Translink and over 5000 colleagues work together each day to deliver safe, customer-focused and sustainable service to customers.

Iarnród Éireann is undertaking a record investment programme, benefiting the national rail network and services across regional cities. This will enable rail to be the backbone of Ireland’s sustainable transport network. The National Development Plan and the ambitious programme outlined in the All-Island Strategic Rail Review will deliver a transformation of rail services for passengers and freight, and expand the rail network, services and electrification significantly.
