Energia Group is a leading integrated and innovative energy company committed to powering the energy transition across the island of Ireland.

Employing more than 1,100 people the Group primarily operates through three business units; Renewables; Flexible Generation; and Customer Solutions (Energia in the Republic of Ireland and Power NI in Northern Ireland). The Group currently supply approximately 17% of the island of Ireland’s total electricity requirements and are responsible for approximately 20% of wind power capacity installed on the island.

The Group has aligned their responsible business activities to the UN sustainable development goals. Energia Group proudly holds the Business Working Responsibly Mark, are signatories to the BITC Elevate Pledge and hold the Bronze diversity mark. Energia Group achieved a B score as a second-time responder to the CDP and recently was awarded ESG Performer of the Year (over 1,000 employees) at the 2024 Green Awards.
