At BITC we tell our clients to make accessibility a key priority, and we like to practise what we preach. We are committed to making our own website accessible to all, regardless of ability, and we aim to meet nationally and internationally recognised benchmarks of accessibility.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Non-Accessible Content

The content listed below is not fully accessible:

  • Images: Not all images on this website have alternative text, we are working to make sure images have sufficient alt text.
  • PDF documents: We are aware that PDF documents used on this website can have accessibility issues.
  • Heading Structure: Not all pages have a correct semantic heading structure.
  • Links: For some links throughout the site, the purpose of each link cannot be determined from the link text alone.
  • Videos: An alternative for time-based media or audio description of prerecorded video content is not provided.
