Education Programmes
BITCI has a suite of education programmes that aim to develop mutually beneficial partnerships between DEIS schools and business in Ireland which support the Government’s overall strategy on educational inclusion. These programmes are delivered through corporate volunteers and operate at both primary and secondary school levels. For the pupils, these programmes are designed to improve literacy and numeracy skills, enhance soft skills such as self confidence and expose them to different careers opportunities so it gives them better employment prospects. For the corporate volunteers, it is a valuable employee engagement initiative where they have an opportunity to give back to their local community.
