Central Bank of Ireland
The Central Bank has responsibility for financial stability, maintaining price stability, the provision of independent economic advice and statistics to government and external stakeholders, regulation of financial services firms, consumer protection and the manufacture and distribution of euro banknotes and coin.
The Central Bank and its staff recognise the importance of being a good corporate citizen and taking responsibility for the impact we have on the environment and the communities in which we operate.
In recent years, this has entailed the good work of our Charity Committee in donating to charities and matching staff fundraising contributions, the Generation €uro Students’ Award, which promotes financial awareness among second level students, as well as monetary donations to organisations like Gaisce.
Our staff also volunteer with education charities like the Early Learning Initiative and Junior Achievement.
We are committed to improving the energy, safety and environmental performance of our workplace.
