Responsible Business Association
Companies with The Mark are representative of Ireland’s most mature, ambitious and innovative businesses, focused on meeting and delivering the transformation needed to address the sustainability challenge. These companies are eligible to join the Responsible Business Association, a collective movement for transformative change to environmentally and socially responsible business models, focusing on leadership, knowledge sharing and support to the wider business eco-system in achieving sustainable impact.
Specifically, the objectives of the Association are:
- To advocate for leading EESG practices within organisations.
- To demonstrate leadership by example through the Business Working Responsibly Mark (the Mark) certification, an independent assessment against a management systems-based standard for EESG.
- To provide EESG training and mentoring for the membership and anyone who wishes to develop these same leading practices within their own organisation.
- The Association provides a platform for members to showcase and define leading responsible business practices. It also provides an advocacy and peer to peer knowledge sharing platform to support companies through the certification process.
How is it Governed?
The Association is governed by a steering committee of Mark certified companies, each serving term of two years. The committee is voted in by members at the AGM.
