BITCI CEO Forum 2026 Demonstrates How Responsible Business Drives Competitive Advantage

Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) welcomes over 100 business leaders from across multiple sectors to its annual CEO Forum. This must-attend event demonstrates how responsible, sustainable and inclusive business strengthens competitiveness and resilience.

Against a backdrop of geopolitical turmoil, impacting supply chains, economic volatility affecting cost management and affordability, uncertain regulatory expectations and hesitancy to advance decarbonisation, business are grappling with how to maintain momentum on sustainability commitments while delivering financial and commercial performance. The Forum will explore how sustainability and social inclusion must remain critical drivers of long-term business value, resilience and innovation.

Tomas Sercovich, CEO BITCI, said “The purpose of the event is to challenge and inspire business leaders as they face today’s pressing issues including climate transition, the societal implications of artificial intelligence, sustainability leadership and the role of business in strengthening social cohesion. No business leader has all the answers. The CEO Forum creates an essential safe space for leaders to share and learn from each other, challenge their thinking and hear how their peers are responding to similar pressures”.

The event brings together leading experts Professor Rodney Irwin, World Business Council for Sustainable Development; Vicky Sins, World Benchmarking Alliance and Prof Taha Yasseri, Workday Full Professor and Chair of Technology and Society, Trinity College Dublin and Technological University Dublin.

Tomas Sercovich added “Exposing CEOs to thought-provoking experts will encourage action to accelerate decarbonisation across operations and supply chains, embed fairness and inclusion into business strategy, and harness sustainability as a fundamental source of competitive advantage. As expectations on business continue to evolve, leadership, collaboration and collective action will be essential to addressing the environmental, social and economic challenges of the coming decade. By BITCI convening the CEO Forum, it will equip leaders with the insights and networks needed to respond with confidence and ambition.”
