ESW, a leader in e-commerce platforms, joined BITCI to get support and advice to formally embed all aspects of sustainability in its business. Through a series of workshops and briefings between BITCI and ESW, it led to a BITCI advisor being part of its newly established ESW Sustainability Programme.

Then BITCI supported ESW with conducting a materiality assessment. Insights from this fed into the development of a Sustainability Strategy and the hiring of a Sustainability Officer whose role focuses on community engagement, decarbonisation of supplier fleets and conscious consumption. Regular monthly consultations between the ESW’s Sustainability Officer and the BITCI advisor are held to identify how BITCI advisory services and programmes can support the implementation of ESW Sustainability Strategy. ESW has since become a signatory of the Elevate, Inclusive Workplace Pledge.
