Klair Neenan
Klair leads the retail operation of SSE plc on the island of Ireland. The business provides green energy, natural gas and energy related solutions for over 750,000 homes and businesses across Ireland. In her role, Klair has focused on growing the business and driving new product innovation, whilst improving customer experience and supporting customers on their journey to net zero.
Klair is an economics graduate with over 20 years’ experience of leading teams across customer service, sales, commercial, corporate services, and IT. She has extensive experience in IT, including two years as SSE’s CIO for Ireland. Prior to this, Klair led a number of large transformational programmes and was responsible for leading significant change. Klair is also a Non Executive Director of SSEN Distribution and is the recipient of the Irish Businesswoman of the Year 2024 Award with Chambers Ireland and a Women in IT Excellence award.
