Deborah Threadgold
Deborah Threadgold is General Manager, IBM Ireland, a position taken in 2021 after 25 years within the IBM Corporation serving in a variety of roles at UK, Ireland and EMEA levels. With a proven track record of leading high performance teams, transforming businesses and creating value for customers and partners, Deborah is responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving operational excellence and fostering the growth and development of IBM’s business and people in Ireland. Deborah is also Co-Chair of IBM’s EMEA Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Deborah joined IBM Ireland in 1996, holding several key roles, including becoming the first Chief Digital Officer for IBM UK and Ireland, a role she held between 2017 and 2020. In this role, she led digital transformation within IBM UK and Ireland. Prior to her current role, Deborah served IBM at an EMEA level as Vice President, driving cross-portfolio revenues through an ecosystem of next-generation partners, Global and Regional System Integrators.
Deborah holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University with a distinction in Business Strategy and Finance. She also gained degrees from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and the Pensions Management Institute (APMI).
