Dawn Meats Group

Dawn Meats Group UC was established in Co Waterford in 1980, and is a private family owned company marketing quality beef and lamb products to a customer base of supermarkets, foodservice and restaurant businesses in over 50 countries.

Investment in the primary business to support the growth of the domestic and overseas customer base has resulted in Dawn becoming the largest processor of lamb in Europe and the leading primary beef processor in the UK and Ireland combined, with an annual revenue of €2.5 billion. The Company employs about 7,400 people at 23 locations in Ireland and the UK, and process approximately 1m cattle and 3.5m lambs annually, producing more than 350k tons of meat products.
